Decision-makers and experts will find cross-sector solutions and answers to the important questions surrounding a safe, healthy and sustainable workplace. From personal protective equipment (PPE), operational fire protection, environmental protection or disaster prevention to offers for ergonomic and healthy workplace design.
The focus will be on topics such as sustainability and the circular economy of products, digital services in the provision, care and storage of PPE, mobile working, exoskeletons (wearable robots) and wearables. Exciting forums and side events as well as an innovative Start-up Zone complement the trade fair and set new, future-oriented impulses. “A+A is unique because it offers tangible product presentations as well as exciting networking formats for a lively and personal exchange. It is therefore a ‘must’ for every decision-maker across all sectors because health and safety at work are becoming an essential part of corporate culture, especially in the age of New Work and digital transformation,” explains Petra Cullmann, Executive Director, Messe Düsseldorf GmbH.
In the past two years, the pace of change in the world of work has accelerated massively. Human-centered support systems can ensure sustainable prevention in the workplace. Digital tools and AI enable workers to work independently of location and in a pandemic-proof manner and offer companies the opportunity to make their production, procurement and supply processes more sustainable and at the same time more efficient.
The 38th A+A Congress stands for sustainable safety and health at work
As part of the A+A, the Federal Working Group for Safety and Health at Work (Basi) is organizing the 38th International Congress for Occupational Safety and Health.
The congress with international appeal takes up the future topics of digitalization and sustainability and, as a leading international specialist event, presents national and global political advances and prevention strategies such as “Vision Zero” as well as occupational science findings from application-oriented research.
“The congress builds an attractive bridge between innovative products and services as well as the expertise of company experts, scientific findings and best practice solutions for all visitors at the Düsseldorf location. Furthermore, it provides all users, company stakeholders, consulting experts and occupational physicians with a lively and innovative platform for high-quality prevention knowledge. In addition, it promotes the exchange of information between the state occupational health and safety authorities, the supervisors of the accident insurance institutions, the self-governing authorities and the company representative bodies, as well as politicians,” explains Dr Christian Felten, Managing Director of Basi.
From October 2022, the A+A will launch an innovative web talk series on the above-mentioned key topics in cooperation with renowned associations, research institutions and ministries such as the BSI (Federal Office for Information Security), Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA), BMAS (Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs) and the DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance).
